Wow! I can't believe that its been 7 weeks already since our little angel was born. How time flies. Its been a very great experience and adventure for all four of us(including missy). We have learned so much as parents and I know we will never stop learning till we hit our graves. lol.

Kiralie has grown so much these past weeks and her personality is amazing. She is laid back and very calm. She loves to smile at every silly sound you make and loves to entertain herself and puts herself to sleep a lot of the time now. She has been very helpful to mummy that way.
She is sleeping 4 to 5 hours each block now and we couldn't be happier. And the days that she wakes up often, she goes right back to sleep after feeding. We really love being parents especially me. I love spending every little moment with her cos who knows what she will do next.
She's grown longer and heavier too. These days, I have to support my arms when feeding her. lol and thus is outgrowing her clothes really fast. Next time I go to get clothes for her, I will be sure to get  clothes for 9months. She is already wearing her 6months clothes and they fit her fine. We really love her and are looking forward to more memorable times with her.

My dear missy is adjusting well. She tries to stay away from the baby and her stuff as much as she can but will always run to the baby when she hears her cry. So sweet of her. She also loves to sniff her when she is asleep and I can already see that, they are going to be inseparable  when Kiralie gets a little older. Missy has been a very good big sister.

It was about three weeks ago that Tim's dad, my father-in- law passed. It was hard for Tim and the whole family. But grateful that he is in a much better place free of illness. Tim is doing well. He misses his dad but we know death isn't the end of life. There is something better and worth fighting for after this life. And that gives us hope every day.
On the brighter side, Tim loves to play with his little girl. He loves the daddy and daughter time they have when I am sleeping. I am always jealous of him when he has the baby cos they always have this connection that just those two share. And Kiralie is equally excited to see him when he comes home from work. How do I know that? She just doesn't pay any attention to me but him. And she is all smiles smiles when he picks her up.  He is such a great dad and his diapering has come a long way. Am so proud of him. He still has a ways to go though. lol

About 2 weeks ago, I decided not to go back to work after my maternity leave ended. I have decided to stay home and take care of my baby full time. I know its going to be hard. But I think that is a little sacrifice I have to make for my baby. I love being a mum and I think its the best thing I will ever do. I do not want to miss out on any detail of her growth. I want to be able to capture every moment.
Its been fun so far and hope to have more fun with her.

We love our little girl and can't wait for her to start turning the house upside down. Fun times.

Our little Kiralie is finally here!

So its been almost two weeks since our baby Kiralie was born. She was born March 27 2010 at 11:46 am at the Intermountain Riverton hospital. She weighed 8 lbs 3 oz and 21 inches long.

Labors went very fast when it finally kicked in. I decided to have this baby naturally without an epidural and am proud to say that I did just that. I will say it wasn't easy at all. But thanks to my wonderful husband by my side and the nurses at the hospital, my dream became a reality. Tim was right there by my side helping me to breath through every contraction. I seriously don't know how we did it but thanks to our Heavenly father, we both mom and baby came out of labor fine.

Bringing home baby has been very tough experience cos the nurses aren't around to feed and change her diapers and gladly take her to the nursery so that we can get some sleep. But right now, we are really appreciative of our parents cos its not an easy task being one.
Baby has been doing well. Sleeping during the day and staying awake during the night and eating and pooping is all she does. But I must say that, she has been pretty gentle on us since we are able to get some hours of sleep every night. knock on wood. lol
Its just priceless to watch her everyday and know that, she is a part of our family now and that we brought her into this world. We are grateful to our Father in Heaven for giving us the opportunity to be parent to His precious spirit daughter. We love her and look forward to seeing her grow and develop into a wonderful daughter of God.

What I've been up to!

Well, its been a while since I posted anything on here. Our lives have been pretty crazy. My wonderful sister- in-law threw a baby shower for me on the 20th of February and it was amazing. Will have to post some pix up later.

As you may know, we have about 5 more weeks until our baby's due date and boy, I think I've had it already. The fatigue and discomfort topped with sleepless nights, I just think am ready to send her over to grandma's for the weekend. lol.
But on the bright side, I have been busy crocheting during my free time. Am not someone very creative so I decided to find some ideas online to make something for our little one that will be joining us soon. And I started to make these headbands. Thanks to my mother-in-law who gave me tons of crocheting yarns, this became a reality.. They are not the best quality or professionally done, but I think its special to be able to do something for our baby. I am proud of myself.
I hope she will like them as much as I enjoyed making them cos I sure put tons of love in it.
That is it for now. Who knows, next time you here from us, we will be announcing the birth of baby Parcell.

We love you and thanks for your support through everything.
