Conference.

We were privileged to be there this morning at the conference center to experience conference this morning. This is our third conference experience together and our first as a married couple. We enjoyed the talks today as it mostly was about how we could be a part of missionary work, and the importance of it.
Missionary work is important to our family as it what brought us together. We met on the mission field as missionary and convert. And it is always thrilling to think about how we felt then. We are glad that, we listened to the promptings of the spirit when we did and are grateful for the consequences that have followed later. They are great and that makes it very rewarding.
Mission work is very divine and we both testify to that. And we are very grateful for this Restored gospel that gives us this great opportunity to experience its divinity. This church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, is truly the Kingdom of God upon the face of the earth and we are proud members of this great family.
We leave this with you in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

its finally over

Today is the last day of August and our bishop asked us to speak. Frankly, this week has been a very busy week and we didn't have a lot of time to prepare our talks. We decided not to do much on Saturday, but just go to the temple and spend sometime preparing for the talks. We were able to finally put some stuff together and printed our talks out. This morning was nerve racking for Takyiwah as it was her first time in along time giving a talk in a new ward. It went really well, and we aere able to make good use of the time we had. We are so glad that, this is finally over and we can sit doen and relax. What a load has been lifted off our backs. Hopefully, such a great opportunity doesn't come our way in a long time
