Kiralie is 4 months old!

I have a video I will like to share with everyone. But first of all, I have to give a little update about our sweet daughter.
She turned 4 months yesterday and everyone baby knows that is not fun. She had to get her shots and that wasn't fun for her at all. She cried and within seconds tears were running down her cheeks. But she didn't cry for too long. She is a little trooper.
At her well check, she got so nervous when the doctor was going to check her physical growth. And he said to her " you aren't suppose to get nervous around strangers until 6 months". Well, doctor, my daughter is in a hurry to grow up and go shopping with her friends. So I don't blame her. So grandma Rosie, you have to know that it wasn't you the other. She is just growing up to fast. And I have to bring her around more often so that she doesn't treat you like a stranger.
She also realized recently that, she could laugh so hard that she was out of breath. So on Sunday, July 25, she put it to the test. There will be a short video for you to enjoy.

We are not perfect parents. We are trying our best to raise her as goodly parents so that she will become a virtuous young woman. We will make mistakes along the way and we hope she can forgive us. And we will learn from those mistakes to become better parents. We love you, our parents and all those who have nurtured us. We really appreciate you and  everything you have done. It isn't easy. And I can say you did very good and we will try to do the same.

Kiralie's Update!

I just can't believe how long its been since I posted something. I was told babies were a lot of work but didn't know that they took away all your time. Nevertheless, am loving being a mum and the time I spend with my little girl is time that I won't trade for anything in the world.

Kiralie is almost 4 months now and a lot of things have happened especially in the month of June. First of all, her only grandpa standing game to visit from Ghana on the 3rd of June. He is really enjoying his first and only grandchild now.

After grandpa came, she received her baby blessing on the 13th. It was a fun filled day as both family and friends were there to support her in this beautiful ceremony. The blessing was given by her daddy and she was surrounded by uncles, cousins, granduncles and so many worthy men to make it very special. I am very grateful for the priesthood in our family. That father can give his children blessings whenever they need it. What a special bond this brings into the home.
Ok, back to Kiralie's baby blessing! It was amazing how many people came to support us. We love you all and thanks for being there for us when we need it.

The 14th had two things happening. Kiralie got her ears pierced and she is smoking! Right after we got home from the mall, she rolled over while having tummy time. That really made my day. She is growing so fast that I sometimes think I might not be able to catch up.
Loves making faces and sticking her tongue out

Apart from rolling over( which she does whenever she feels like it), she laughs now and makes faces. She also grabs on to stuff( especially my blouse when we are at church. So embarrassing to have your undergarments hanging out cos your daughter feels that is the thing to do). But I love my baby girl no matter what.
She has been trying to get up by herself; which is very funny to watch her do. She wants to hold her head up when she sits and wants to raise herself when she is laying down. She has very good use of her hands and elbows.
She talks a lot and sings along whenever she can. She loves to such on her fist and anything she can get into her mouth. I always wonder why not a finger or a couple of fingers. But she wants the whole fist. She also reads scriptures with mummy every morning and she loves to listen to me pray. Grandpa thinks she should serve a mission when she is older and I agree. She will make a fine sister missionary.

Daddy loves her to pieces
Kiralie is a blessing in our lives. She is teaching us how to be patience and love unconditionally. Because am able to still love her despite the frustrations I feel at times, it has helped me personally to let things go and love my husband even more. She has brought a lot of strength into our home and we appreciate her.
We think she will be a great example for her siblings to come and I can't wait to hear her tell me all the things she's been babbling all this while. lol
Mummy loves her to bits

We love you sweetheart. And you are the best thing that has happened to mummy and daddy.
We are looking forward to teaching and nurturing her to be a responsible young lady.
