Our Baby!!

Well, its been about two weeks since we updated our blog. I am 30 weeks pregnant now and very excited to see this bugger. Her kicking and punching are very intense now. But I really don't mind. It makes me know that she is doing well and she wants mama's attention.

On Monday, we had the opportunity of seeing a 3D image of our little girl and it was amazing. It makes me want her to come right now. She is so adorable. Her head is already down and she is growing really well. The technician asked if I had enough room in my lungs to breath cos the baby was already taking space underneath my rib cage. Her estimated weight right now is 3lbs 11oz.

So the funny thing that happened when we had our appointment was that, she was very active while we were waiting to be called in. I was very excited cos we were going to get a good view of her. Well, all the action stopped when we were called into the room. She had fallen asleep. The technician started taking measurement to give her time to wake up by herself. But that didn't work. She shook her, shoved her but all she could get her to do was to get her to turn her head a little bit so that we could get a little view of her face. And she also took her hand out of her mouth.
Obviously, she does whatever she wants to do and we can't do anything about it.

Now that we have a printer, I am going to make a slide show of  our little Kiralie( the name we have agreed on for this month. it changes all the time). When we found out we were pregnant and all the growth she has gone through till now. I have a ton of ultrasounds to upload so am going to get to work.
We love her and can't wait to have her in our arms. Looking forward to her coming every single day.

We had our first Lamaze birthing class last night night. It was fun to to meet all the other couples that were expecting. We got to learn some basic relaxation and breathing and boy, that helped me sleep so well last night. Even though I suck at this relaxation thing, I think its going to make a lot of difference if I take it seriously. Tim liked the class too cos he wasn't the only man there and they had a chance to get together and talk about stuff too. That really helps. lol
I am really excited to read all the assignments and get ready for our next class next week. I am so glad that Tim is doing this with me cos it reassures me that we are in this together. And I know with him by my side, I can do anything. We can get through this labor and delivery smoothly, supporting each other.

Well, have a great week and and you will hear from us soon.
Love, Takyiwah Parcell
